Tayyab Naseer has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and research. Tayyab is currently employed at Woven Planet Holdings as a Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead. Prior to that, they worked at Lyft as a Senior Software Engineer in their self-driving division. Tayyab also gained experience as a Research Development Software Engineer at Bosch. During their time at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau, they worked as a Doctoral Candidate, focusing on robust monocular camera-based localization. Before that, they served as a Student Researcher at DoCoMo Euro-Labs, where they worked on various projects related to indoor localization and image retrieval. Tayyab also worked as a Lab Instructor for Image and Video Compression at Technische Universität München. Additionally, they gained research experience as a Student Researcher at the same institution. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Research Assistant at Lahore University of Management Sciences, focusing on power-aware video codec development.
