Vamsi Nc (He/Him)

Vamsi NC has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Vamsi started their career as a Research Intern at C-DAC in 2012, where they worked for 5 months. In the same year, they also worked as a Research Intern at Amrita Center for Cyber Security for 5 months. From 2012 to 2013, Vamsi worked as a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant Technology Solutions, where they mainly focused on business process integration using Java, XML, and ESQL.

In 2015, Vamsi had two internships. The first one was at Haystack.im, where they were involved in shaping the visual content world. The second internship was at Goldman Sachs, where they gained experience in a broader context.

In 2016, Vamsi joined Goldman Sachs as an Application Security Engineer until 2018. Vamsi then moved on to work at Stash as a Security Engineer from 2018 to 2019. Later, they became a Senior Security Engineer at Stash from 2019 to 2020.

From 2020 to 2022, Vamsi worked at Zillow Group as a Principal Security Engineer, where they played a key role in ensuring the security of the organization.

Currently, Vamsi is serving as an Application Security Engineering Manager at Woven Planet from November 2022 onwards.

Vamsi NC (He/Him) completed their education with a Master's degree in Cyber Security from New York University between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from Amrita School of Engineering between 2008 and 2012. In addition to their formal education, Vamsi obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2021.
