Susset Cabrera

Susset Cabrera has over 15 years of experience in communications, public relations, and marketing. In 2006, they began their career as the Business Manager at The Miami Hurricane Student Newspaper at the University of Miami. In 2010, they founded Peacock Public Relations, a full-service PR, marketing, and event company. In 2021, they were hired as the Communications Manager for the City of North Miami. The following year, they were appointed as the Chief Communications Officer for the City of North Miami Beach. In 2023, they were hired as the Director of Communications for WOW MKTG, where they lead an internal and external communications team to fulfill successful communication efforts.

Susset Cabrera earned a Master of Arts in Public Relations from the University of Miami in 2009, following a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami Herbert Business School in 2007, with minors in Marketing and English. In 2006, Cabrera also studied Spanish Art and Civilization/ Modern Spanish History and Culture at Universidad de Salamanca.
