John Carlucci has extensive work experience in the technology and media industry. John has held various leadership positions in companies such as WOW! Internet, Cable & Phone, Petrichor Networks, Alticast, Clearleap (Acquired by IBM), FreedTV Systems, PolyCipher, Time Warner Cable, BigBand Networks (Acquired by ARRIS), DiviCom (Acquired by Harmonic), and Sony Advanced Video Technology Center.

At WOW! Internet, Cable & Phone, they served as the Vice President of Customer Premises Equipment & Video Engineering, leading a team responsible for customer premises software and hardware engineering for broadband services. John supervised requirements generation, qualification, deployment, and operations to improve service delivery and customer experience.

Before Clearleap, Carlucci was the CTO of FreedTV Systems, a pioneering startup in the television and social networking industry. John developed innovative products and services related to television and social media, including Social TV Mosaic and social media-driven TV advertising.

At PolyCipher, they served as the Vice President of Engineering and developed security standards and infrastructure for next-generation video networks. John managed technical staff and provided regular updates to cable operator boards on key progress.

Carlucci also worked at Time Warner Cable's Advance Technology Group/Mystro TV as the Chief Network Architect, where they led the architectural design of the Everything-on-demand video system. This work was recognized with an Emmy Award for pioneering work in implementing and deploying Network DVR (NDVR).

John also held positions at BigBand Networks (Acquired by ARRIS) and DiviCom (Acquired by Harmonic), where they contributed to system integration and development of video delivery technologies.

Early in their career, Carlucci worked at the Sony Advanced Video Technology Center as a Senior Engineer, where they developed software for digital media production concepts and received several patents.

John Carlucci has a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University. John also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university.
