Caleb Ejakait

Caleb Ejakait has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and software development. Caleb currently holds the position of Senior Data Engineer at Wowzi since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Engineer at Wowzi from August 2021 to February 2023.

Before joining Wowzi, Caleb worked at Arifu where they held various roles. Caleb started as a Data Science Intern in October 2018 and later became a Junior Data Engineer in July 2019. In these roles, they developed dashboards, visualizations, and data integration automations to gain insights into user behavior and improve data workflows. Additionally, they played a key role in driving the adoption of data cataloging and data quality management tools.

Caleb's earliest work experience was as a Software Development Intern at Symatech Labs from January 2017 to March 2017. Here, they contributed to the development pipeline of various projects, specifically focusing on API development, web design, and search engine optimization. Caleb also designed and developed the company's website.

Caleb Ejakait attended Strathmore University from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Informatics. In July 2015, they also obtained a certification in CCNA1 from Cisco. Most recently, in June 2021, Caleb earned the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
