Matt Norman

Matt Norman, CPA has extensive work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Matt has worked as Sr. Director and Director of Controller at WP Engine, where they led the global accounting function, implemented new processes and controls, and managed M&A integration. Prior to that, Matt worked as Assistant Controller at WP Engine, where they managed a team and improved the month-end close process. Matt also served as the Director of Investor Relations at LDR Spine, where they created an in-house investor relations function and managed investor communications during the company's acquisition. Additionally, Matt has experience in accounting and investor relations at Luminex Corporation and as a Staff Auditor at Pena Swayze & Co., LLP (now merged with Maxwell Locke & Ritter). Matt began their career as an Assurance Senior Associate at BDO Seidman, LLP, specializing in financial statement audits and Section 404 audits for various industries.

Matt Norman, CPA, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a major in Accounting, obtained from Washington State University - College of Business and Economics in 2006. Additionally, they hold another Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Washington State University in the same year. Matt has also obtained certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in 2009, and from the Washington State Board of Accountancy in the same year.
