Shivany Shenoy

Shivany Shenoy has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Shivany is currently working as the Principal Enterprise Architect at Starbucks since April 2020. Before this role, Shivany served as the Lead Instructor at LaunchCode from October 2019 to May 2020, where they were responsible for delivering technical lectures, providing feedback on programming curriculum, mentoring students, and teaching coding best practices.

Prior to their time at LaunchCode, Shivany worked at Panera Bread for 7 years. Shivany held various positions including Sr. Manager, Lead eCommerce Architect, Sr. Manager, Sr. Tech Lead, and Technical Lead. In these roles, Shivany led projects, drove solution architecture, designed and developed the eCommerce platform, and managed teams. Shivany also played a key role in implementing Voice Ordering through the Google Assistant, which was showcased at Google I/O in 2017.

Before Panera Bread, Shivany worked at World Wide Technology as a Sr. Developer for 2 years, where they led medium to large-scale projects and developed custom applications. Prior to that, they worked at Enterprise Rent-A-Car as a Sr. Software Engineer for 4 years, focusing on software development and maintenance.

Shivany's career began at Wells Fargo Advisors as an Application Engineer, working on web development and support for client-facing applications. Shivany also worked at Cerner Corporation as a Software Engineer, where they designed and built web-based applications.

Apart from their professional experience, Shivany also gained valuable experience during internships at General Electric Lighting, where they worked as a Six Sigma Co-Op, and at Washington University, where they served as a Java Programming Course Consultant.
