Jimmy Mnene

Jimmy Mnene is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as General Counsel and Group Data Protection Officer, as well as Group Head of Legal for Africa at WPP-Scangroup since November 2021. Previously, Jimmy held the position of Regional Legal Counsel at Allianz Africa from February 2021 to October 2021 and worked as Legal Manager at WPP-Scangroup from September 2017 to January 2021. Earlier experience includes serving as Legal Officer in the Licensing & Approvals department at the Capital Markets Authority and holding various roles at the Authority, including Legal Assistant for Corporate Approvals and Legal Intern. Jimmy's academic background includes a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Nairobi.
