Millicent Mwai

Millicent Mwai is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in compliance, risk assessment, and policy development across various sectors. Currently serving as Associate Legal Counsel at WPP-Scangroup since March 2022, Millicent conducts risk assessments to ensure compliance with international standards and develops governance policies to mitigate legal risks. Previously, as an Account Manager for The Coca-Cola Company, significant contributions were made to sustainability and compliance initiatives across East and Central Africa. Millicent's expertise also includes roles as Policy Executive and Policy Researcher at Oxygène Marketing Communications Ltd., where regulatory assessments and stakeholder engagements were key responsibilities. Prior experience also includes positions as a Legal Officer at JEO Advocates and legal internships at MMAN Advocates and the Competition Authority of Kenya. Millicent holds a Diploma in Project Management from Oxford Home Study Center and completed the Advocates' Training Programme at the Kenya School of Law, following a Bachelor of Laws from Kenyatta University.
