Kristian Smith

Kristian Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in organisational design, programme management, and transformation across various sectors, including government and corporate environments. Currently serving as the Global Senior Business Partner (CIO) at WPP since May 2022, Kristian supports the Global People Team in talent development for the creative industry. Prior roles include significant contributions to the UK Ministry of Defence, where responsibilities ranged from designing strategic workforce planning to leading organisational transformations. As an independent consultant from October 2018 to October 2022, Kristian focused on enhancing leadership effectiveness in directing organisations. Education includes a Post Graduate Diploma in Battlespace Technology from Cranfield School of Management and a BSc (Hons) in Applied Sports Science from the University of South Wales.
