Mary Evans

Mary Evans has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare industry. Mary is currently the Director of Medicare Program Compliance at WPS Health Solutions since November 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Turville Bay MRI & Radiation Oncology Center from February 2012 to October 2018 as the Compliance & Privacy/Security Officer, where they developed and implemented a compliance program and ensured HIPAA and HITECH compliance.

Before joining Turville Bay, Mary worked at UnityPoint Health – Meriter for several years. From September 2001 to February 2012, they were the Corporate Compliance Coordinator, where they implemented HIPAA and HITECH requirements and managed the compliance committee. Additionally, Mary held a Human Resources role at UnityPoint Health – Meriter from December 1988 to September 2001, where they handled employee relations, union negotiations, and advised managers on employee actions.

Mary's work experience also includes a role as an Employee Relations Specialist at WPS Health Insurance from June 1986 to December 1988.

Mary Evans completed their Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Edgewood College, from 1984 to 1986. Prior to that, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1982 to 1984, but their degree name and field of study at this institution are unknown. Additionally, Mary has obtained several certifications in healthcare privacy compliance and healthcare compliance from the Compliance Certification Board, including the Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) in 2015 and the Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) in 2012.
