Moira Klos has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Moira started their career at Hazleton Laboratories (Covance) as a Group Leader/Technical Editor from 1988 to 1991. Moira then moved on to work at RMT as an HR Manager/Customer Support Manager from 1991 to 1995. Following this, they worked at Blackkhawk Technical College as a Consultant/Trainer from 1995 to 2003. Moira continued their career at Simmons Bedding Company as the Director of Talent Management from 2003 to 2013, where they developed and implemented talent management strategies. Currently, they are employed at WPS Health Solutions, where they held various senior leadership positions such as Director of Learning and Talent Management, Vice President Human Resources, and Senior Vice President of Human Resources. In March 2022, Klos was promoted to Chief People Officer, overseeing the company's people-related initiatives. Throughout their career, Klos has been instrumental in transforming HR functions, implementing talent practices, and integrating talent management areas.
Moira Klos obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Moira also earned a Master of Science degree in Continuing Adult and Vocational Education from the same institution. In addition to their academic degrees, they have obtained various certifications including Situational Leadership Trainer from the Center for Leadership Studies in 2008, Ropes Course Technical Instructor from Experience-Based Learning in 2002, and several teacher certifications in subjects such as Quality Process Management and Supervision and Leadership Development from the Wisconsin Technical College System in 1999. Moira has also obtained certifications as a facilitator in various areas such as What Matters Most, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Leadership and Team Training, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and Total Quality Transformation.
