Matthew Kauerauf

Matthew Kauerauf is an experienced photojournalist currently working at WPTV since October 2021. Previously, Kauerauf served as a Photographer/Editor at WICS-TV and gained experience as a Script Reader for the Bull City International Film Festival & Screenwriting Competition. Kauerauf also worked as a Freelance Writer/Editor at Illinois State University, producing professional presentations. In addition to these roles, Kauerauf has been involved in various capacities at BUTV News, including Producer and Audio Operator, and contributed as a Promo Writer for Hilltop Films. Kauerauf co-founded BU Laughter: Live and held multiple production roles for projects like the Happy Days Music Video and the Amazon Echo Corporate Video. Kauerauf holds a Bachelor of Science in Television and Film Arts from Bradley University and has continued education at the University of Stirling.
