Derek Richards

Derek Richards is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in the engineering field, currently serving as the Lead Electrical Engineer at WR Systems since September 2019 and has been with BAE Systems as an Electrical Engineer since January 2015. Prior roles include Nuclear Engineer 1 at Huntington Ingalls Industries, responsible for developing procedures for nuclear work, and Engineering Consultant at Assure Pet Health Inc, managing technology transfer and documentation for manufacturing. Earlier experience includes an undergraduate internship as a Database Engineer at Genzyme, where Derek developed reports and conducted testing for laboratory systems. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
