Rebekah Newman

Becky Newman is the Vice President of International Customer Relations at WRAP Technologies since September 2021, where WRAP develops innovative public safety technologies and services. Previously, Becky served as Chief Inspector for the UK Home Office's Science and Technology Commissioning from October 2014 to September 2021, managing police science and research projects and advising the Ministry of Defence. Additionally, Becky held the position of Police Adviser to the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL) from April 2018 to August 2021, focusing on various policing portfolios, and served as Secretary General for the European Working Group for Non Lethal Weapons from May 2015 to August 2021. Becky's early career included a role as Critical Incident, Tactical Firearms & Pursuit Commander with Sussex Police from June 2007 to October 2014. Becky holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business and Management from the University of London.
