Claire Kneller

Head of WRAP, Asia Pacific at WRAP

Claire Kneller is the Head of WRAP’s International Food Programme. She is responsible for working with partners to help deliver UN Sustainable Development Goal 12.3 – to halve global food loss and waste by 2030.

Claire is responsible for identifying opportunities, creating new and lasting partnerships with in-country organisations, governments and other partners. Claire designs WRAP’s support programmes with those partners and across WRAP’s functions and providing key account management and technical delivery.

Claire has worked for WRAP for over ten years. In that time, she has delivered a number of high profile programmes, including a £20 million grant support program for new composting and anaerobic digestion facilities, a £10 million loan fund for innovative sustainability projects, and projects with international partners ranging from Apple to the UN.

Previously, Claire worked for the Accelerating Growth Fund, designed to support high risk, technically innovative projects in the area of processing organics or plastics with commercial loans of up to £500k. She has a BA in English Literature, Medieval Studies and Latin from Newcastle University.
