Canaan Bethea

Canaan Bethea is an experienced mindset coach currently working with Wrestling Mindset since June 2018 and serves as a counselor for Beat the Streets Philadelphia since January 2014. Bethea has a background in coaching, having held the position of assistant wrestling coach at George Mason University Athletics from September 2016 to June 2018, and served as a wrestler with Olympic hopeful aspirations at the Pennsylvania Regional Training Center from October 2015 to September 2016. Previous roles include residential advisor/tutor counselor at UPenn Upward Bound from June 2012 to September 2013 and peer counselor at the University of Pennsylvania from June 2011 to May 2012. Canaan Bethea's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational Psychology from George Mason University (2018-2023), a Master of Science (MS) in Educational Psychology from George Mason University (2017-2018), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania (2010-2015).
