Gareth Richards is a highly experienced coach specializing in youth development, currently serving as the Lead Youth Development Phase Coach at Wrexham AFC since October 2024. Previously, Gareth held similar roles at Shrewsbury Town FC and Connah's Quay Nomads FC Ltd, where notable achievements included leading U19 teams to multiple league titles and fostering player progression to professional contracts. Additionally, Gareth contributes to the FAW Trust as the Boys National Regional Programme Coach (North) and has an extensive coaching background that encompasses roles at the Football Association of Wales, Everton Football Club, and Airbus UK Broughton FC.
