Mike Nader

Mike Nader has a long and varied history in the Canadian healthcare system, working their way up from Executive Director of Integrated Medical Imaging to their current position as President & CEO of WRHA. Along the way, they have made a significant impact on the quality and efficiency of healthcare services across the country.

Under their leadership, the consolidation of Medical Imaging services across four health authorities / organizations led to enhanced quality and safety of services provided, with over $11 million in operating savings identified. Mike also chaired the provincial-level Medical Imaging Advisory Committee, Provincial Imaging Council, and Provincial Breast Health Steering Committee, providing key leadership on initiatives to improve healthcare for all Canadians.

Most recently, Mike Nader has been working with PwC Canada as an Executive Advisor, helping to drive change and improve performance within organizations. Mike's extensive experience and knowledge in the healthcare industry makes him uniquely qualified to lead WRHA into the future.

Mike Nader's educational career began with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of British Columbia. Mike then went on to obtain a Master's of Arts in Healthcare Leadership from Royal Roads University. After working in the healthcare industry for a number of years, Mike decided to pursue an MBA from The University of British Columbia. Upon graduation, they took on a role as Lean Executive Director with Lean Sensei International. In this role, Mike is responsible for leading and developing lean management programs for healthcare organizations.
