Madhura Kulkarni

Madhura Kulkarni is a Program Manager at WRI India since December 2019, leading the Nurturing Neighbourhoods Challenge, an initiative under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs involving ten cities in India. Prior to this role, Madhura served as a Senior Program Associate focusing on sustainable cities and transport, and worked as a Consultant at RV College of Architecture. Madhura's experience includes positions as an Urban Designer at SUMNet India and Parisar, where responsibilities encompassed sustainable urban transport, street and junction design, and policy research. Earlier career roles included Urban Designer at Prasanna Desai - India and Architect at PSA Design Studio, alongside an internship at Praxis Architecture. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Urban Design from the School of Planning and Architecture Bhopal and a Bachelor's in Architecture from the Institute of Design Education and Architectural Studies.
