Tyler Hall

Tyler Hall is an experienced weather specialist and traffic reporter currently serving at ABC 8NEWS WRIC - Nexstar Media Group since November 2022, providing weather forecasts for both Weekend Evening and Weekday Morning Newscasts in Richmond, Virginia. Prior to this role, Tyler worked at KALB-TV in Alexandria, Louisiana, starting as a Weekend Weathercaster in August 2017 before transitioning to a Morning Forecaster in September 2020, where duties included weather segments for various newscasts. Earlier career experiences include part-time positions at Dollar General and Lyndon State College, as well as an internship at WVNY TV where Tyler contributed to weather graphics and reporting. Tyler holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Journalism Arts from Lyndon State College and a Certificate of Achievement in Weather Forecasting from Penn State World Campus.
