Seth Hansen

Seth Hansen currently serves as the Director of Emergency Management for Wright County Sheriff's Office since October 2018, having previously held the position of Deputy Director of Emergency Management since February 2017. Hansen also has a long-standing role as Fire Chief at Big Lake Fire Department since January 2009, focusing on firefighting, rescue, and community education. Additional experience includes serving as a City Councilman for the City of Big Lake from November 2010 to December 2018, contributing to local economic growth and development. Prior to these roles, Hansen held positions such as Deputy Director of Emergency Operations for Sherburne County Sheriff's Department and held various management roles in construction and financial sales. Educational qualifications include a BA in Marketing and Business Management from Concordia University, a Certified Emergency Manager designation, and a BS in Physical Education from Mankato State University.
