Todd Ryan, MBA, CHDM has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Todd began their career in 1997 as a Sales Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton, followed by a Sales Manager role at Hyatt Hotels Corporation in 2000. From 2003 to 2005, Todd was the Director of Sales & Marketing at the Hilton Monterey, where they increased total hotel revenues by 20%, retail rates by 70%, and market share index percent change by 11% in the first full year. In 2005, they were promoted to Area Director of Sales and Marketing - Eastern Canada at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., where they were responsible for a portfolio of 7 hotels and 3 upper-upscale and lifestyle brands. During their time there, they exceeded total operating revenue and sales production goals for 3 consecutive years. In 2017, Todd became the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, Mid-Atlantic at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, where they led sales, marketing, and public relations for 16 boutique hotels and coached and developed a new generation of hospitality sales leaders. In 2018, Todd founded MBS Performance Excellence, a consulting, coaching and training firm focused on how influence, persuasion, understanding human behavior, and story telling impact leadership, sales efforts, marketing strategies, and branding initiatives to propel both personal and professional growth. In 2020, Todd took on the role of Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Brandywine Living, where they shortened the sales cycle by 35% after introducing a new CRM and creating sales enablement tools. Most recently, in 2021, Todd joined Wright Investments, Inc. as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, where they are responsible for leading revenue, enablement, marketing and branding strategies.

Todd Ryan, MBA, CHDM has an extensive educational background. Todd earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2002, with a focus in Business. Prior to that, they received a Bachelors of Social Sciences from Portland State University - School of Business in 1997, with a focus in Finance. Todd also holds several certifications, including Certified Hospitality Digital Marketer from HSMAI (2022), Hubspot Sales Enablement Certified from HubSpot (2021), and Viral Marketing & How to Craft Contagious Content from Wharton Online (2020).
