Kacie’s path to physical therapy was a circuitous one. She grew up in Nebraska, Minnesota, and Iowa and was a track athlete in both high school and college. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Kacie then received a Bachelor of Science from Black Hills State University in mass communications-journalism. After graduating, she worked as the editor of a small-town newspaper in Hill City, SD, for three years. Although she enjoyed writing, she was driven to find a career that allowed her to help people at a more personal and impactful level.
Kacie has always had a love of hiking, climbing, kayaking, camping, biking, and the outdoors. She resigned from her journalism job to hike the Pacific Crest Trail. This journey cemented her interest in testing the limits of the human body and holistic health. When personal injuries led her to experience the benefits of physical, her career path was obvious. Kacie graduated from the College of Southern Idaho in 2019 with a degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. She is looking forward to applying her personal and professional experience to supporting patient recovery and helping others achieve their mobility goals.
