Deb Freedman is an accomplished freelance writer and editor with extensive experience in education. From March 2021 to the present, Deb has been self-employed as a freelance writer. Prior to this, Deb dedicated nearly 18 years to Burlington Township High School, serving as an English teacher and chairperson of the English Department, specializing in Advanced Placement Literature and Composition and Honors English III. Deb's teaching career also includes positions at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School, The College of New Jersey, Ewing Residential Treatment Center, and Childrens' Day School. Additionally, Deb has experience as a reading consultant for the New Jersey Office of Education. Deb holds a Master's Degree in Reading and Reading Specialist Certification from The College of New Jersey, special education certification from Rowan University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary English Education from Rider University.
