Dan Bikel currently serves as the Head of AI at WRITER since July 2025, leading initiatives that enable enterprises to utilize AI-powered work through an end-to-end platform. Prior to this role, Dan was a Senior Staff Research Scientist and Tech Lead at Meta from April 2022 to May 2025, where leadership was provided to applied research efforts on conversational AI agents. Dan's experience at Google spanned from May 2010 to April 2022, holding roles as Research Scientist and Technical Lead Manager, focused on statistical models for text analysis within the Machine Intelligence group. Additionally, Dan was a Principal Applied Scientist and Senior Manager for Natural Language Processing (NLP) at LinkedIn from June 2015 to September 2017, where a team was built to explore multilingual NLP methods. Dan Bikel earned an A.B. in Classics from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
