Robert Harrison

Robert Harrison has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the software development and IT fields. Robert began their career as a Software Developer at Medic Computer Systems, where they developed custom conversion programs and collaborated with clients to enhance existing medical software. Robert then worked as a Software Developer at Austin Regional Clinic, focusing on software development.

Robert joined American Physicians Services Group as a Senior Software Developer, where they created custom COBOL applications and customized existing functionality for health insurance forms.

Robert then moved on to Spectrum Software Services Group as a Senior Software Consultant, working on the migration of legacy HR systems to Lawson HR system. Robert wrote custom COBOL applications and UNIX scripts for system enhancement and provided training to clients.

Robert later joined Pacific Life Insurance Company, starting as a Senior Software Engineer and progressing to the role of Director of Application Development, HR, Tax, and Treasury Systems. In these positions, Robert was responsible for requirement specifications, project management, and development management for HR, financial, and operations systems.

In 2012, Robert became self-employed, serving as CTO, CFO, and Co-Founder of a startup collaboration focused on bringing a complete skin health system of products to market. Their responsibilities included information technology setup, inventory and asset integration, and managing a full range ecommerce solution.

Currently, Robert is employed as a Wordpress Developer at WriterAccess, where they are involved in Wordpress development projects.

Robert Harrison attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1985 to 1990, where they studied Computer Science.
