Brian Shirley

Brian Shirley has extensive work experience in the banking industry, specifically in roles related to credit management, underwriting, and lending. From 2019 to the present, they have held the position of Vice President SBA Credit Manager at WSFS Bank. Prior to that, they were an AVP - Senior SBA Underwriter at the same bank. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Sturdy Savings Bank, where they held various positions including Vice President, Assistant Vice President, and Commercial Lending Officer/Portfolio Manager. Before that, they gained experience at Cape Bank as an Underwriter and Credit Analyst from 2012 to 2015. Outside of the banking industry, Brian worked as a Sales Associate at Yesterday's Inc from 2005 to 2012, and in the finance department at Community Realty Company, Inc. from 2006 to 2012. Brian also has experience in education, having worked as a Student Teacher at Ocean City High School in 2005, and as a Teaching Assistant at Yale School, Inc. from 2004 to 2004. In their early career, Brian held the position of Director of Beach Operations at the City of Ocean City, NJ from 1998 to 2003.

Brian Shirley completed their education history with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business from Stockton University, which they attended from 2001 to 2003. Brian further pursued an Education Certification (Graduate Accelerated Program) in Business Teacher Education from Rider University, where they enrolled from 2004 to 2005. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "Leading Your Team Through Change" from LinkedIn in May 2023.
