John L. Olsen

John L. Olsen has over 30 years of work experience in the legal industry, specifically in financial services and banking. John L. has held several leadership positions throughout their career, including Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Wilmington Savings Fund Society, FSB since 2011. In this role, they have demonstrated expertise in governance, commercial and secured transactions, trust and commercial litigation, contract negotiations and drafting, and legislative affairs. John L. has been actively involved in promoting the interests of the banking industry through their leadership roles in the Delaware and Pennsylvania Bankers Associations, as well as participation in legislative drafting teams and Bar committees. Prior to their current position, Olsen worked as Vice President and Counsel at Wilmington Trust from 1994 to 2011 and served as an Associate at Duane Morris LLP from 1986 to 1994.

John L. Olsen completed their education at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School from 1981 to 1984, obtaining a JD degree in Law. Prior to that, from 1976 to 1980, they attended The George Washington University, where they earned a BA degree in Economics and Classics.
