Shilpi Banerjee

Shilpi Banerjee currently serves as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at New York Blood Center, a role assumed in November 2024. Prior to this position, Shilpi held the role of Deputy General Counsel at Nationwide Children's Hospital from July 2021 to April 2024, leading a legal team focused on research integrity and compliance. At Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, from December 2013 to June 2021, Shilpi managed all intellectual property matters and contributed to institutional strategic initiatives. Shilpi's earlier experience includes serving as Counsel and Practice Group Chair for the Research & Education group at Cleveland Clinic and as an Associate at Sidley Austin, where Shilpi specialized in patent litigation and counseling. Shilpi Banerjee holds a Doctor of Law degree from Stanford Law School and was a Muscular Dystrophy Association Fellow in Neuroscience at Caltech.
