Susan Corkery

Susan Corkery has over 37 years of work experience in the banking industry. Susan is currently working as the SVP & Senior Credit Officer at WSFS Bank since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Bryn Mawr Trust as the SVP & Director of Small Business Underwriting and Credit Administration from December 2017 to February 2022. Susan also worked at Royal Bank America as the SVP Underwriting and Credit Operations Officer from August 2016 to December 2017 before it was acquired by Bryn Mawr Trust.

Susan had a long tenure at Santander Bank, N.A., where they held various roles. Susan served as a Credit Risk Officer from January 2016 to July 2016, Regional Credit Manager-Business Banking from February 2013 to December 2015, and Business Banking Credit Officer II from January 2010 to January 2013.

Susan also worked as the Vice President of Commercial Centralized at the Underwriting Group, Santander/Sovereign Bank from July 2005 to January 2010. And prior to that, they worked at Sovereign Bank as the VP & Manager of SBA Unit from July 2002 to July 2005, and as a Team Leader from July 2002 to October 2004.

Susan started their banking career at Sovereign Bank as a Branch Manager from April 1989 to January 1999. Before that, they worked as a Commercial Lender at First Pennsylvania Bank from November 1984 to April 1989. Overall, Susan has gained significant experience in credit underwriting, risk management, and leadership roles throughout their career.

Susan Corkery has obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Penn State University.
