Seshika Fernando

Seshika Fernando is the current VP of Banking and Financial Services at WSO2. Fernando has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, working in both Sri Lanka and Australia.

Fernando began their career as a Software Engineer Internship at Interblocks Ltd from January 2005 to December 2006. Seshika then worked as a Senior Business Analyst at MillenniumIT from August 2006 to August 2010. In 2012, Fernando started working as a Treasury Analyst at the Commercial Bank of Ceylon Ltd. Seshika then became a Visiting Lecturer at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka from 2013 to 2015.

Fernando has a vast amount of experience in financial analysis, risk management, and process improvement. Through their work history, they have shown herself to be a strategic thinker and an effective leader. These skills have served their well in their current role as VP of Banking and Financial Services at WSO2.

Seshika Fernando has a MSc in Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Colombo.

Their manager is Padmika Dissanaike, Chief Financial Officer.
