Paul Assaad

Paul Assaad, CISSP, currently serves as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at CAE since November 2020. Prior to this role, Paul held the position of vCISO and IT Transformation Advisor at Charlie Bravo Romeo from 2019 to November 2020, where responsibilities included developing strategic IT roadmaps and managing compliance and risk programs. From 2016 to 2019, Paul was a member of the Board of Directors at the Canadian Cyber Threat Exchange (CCTX). Paul also served as Head of Information Security (CISO) at Air Canada from 2012 to 2019, overseeing global cybersecurity initiatives, governance, risk, compliance, and fraud prevention. Prior experience includes directing procedures and compliance for the IT Security and Disaster Recovery Group at the National Bank of Canada in 2011-2012 and serving as Chief Infrastructure and Security at Agence Métropolitaine de Transport from 2005 to 2011.
