Luz Aguirre currently serves as a Student Success Coach at WSU Tech, focusing on guiding students towards academic success since March 2023. Previously, Luz worked as a Social Service Designee at Catholic Care Center, assisting local patients with resources and care plans from January to April 2023. Luz gained valuable experience as a SPED Social Work Intern at Lawrence Public Schools from August 2020 to August 2021 and as a Student Advocate at Wichita Public Schools during the 2019-2020 academic year. Additional roles include serving as a Library Dean’s Office Student Assistant at Wichita State University and an Educational Resource Center Student Assistant at Bridgewater State University. Luz holds a Master of Social Work from The University of Kansas and has studied at Yonsei University and Wichita State University.
