Matt Small

Matt Small is the Digital Editor at WTOP. Matt has over 17 years of experience in radio and news production. Matt began their career at the Associated Press in July 2002 as a Radio Producer. Matt wrote, produced, and voiced news reports for radio and video. Matt also coordinated morning-drive radio production and programming, including network and custom newscasts, live special reports, long-form broadcasts, and requests from member stations. In addition, they were assigned to report from Washington and New York. Matt has been recognized for incorporating social media into the newsgathering process.
