Gavin Monk

Gavin Monk is a Consultant Wellsite Geologist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry since August 2000, primarily with G J Monk Limited. Notable clients include BP, ChevronTexaco, and Shell. Roles have involved onshore and offshore well-site operations across various significant projects, including the monitoring of appraisal wells in the Sureste Basin and drilling activities in the Wytch Farm oilfield. Recent consultancy roles included positions at WTS Energy, Perenco, and Capricorn Energy PLC, focusing on exploration and production wells in various geographic locations, notably the Arabian Gulf and the Central North Sea. Gavin Monk holds a First Class BSc Honours Degree in Applied Geology from the University of Staffordshire.
