T.G. Shuck has a diverse work experience in the media industry. T.G. started their career as a Photographer/Editor at WCNC-TV in 1993. T.G. then moved on to WKYT-TV, where they worked for 16 years as an on-air meteorologist, eventually becoming the Chief Meteorologist. During their time at WKYT-TV, they also produced weathercasts for various media outlets and engaged with the community through speaking engagements. In 2012, T.G. Shuck joined New York Life Insurance Company as a Licensed Agent and later transitioned to the role of Senior Associate, Internal Life Product Consultant. T.G. provided sales strategies and product knowledge to field agents. In 2016, they became a Meteorologist at WHAS-TV, where they anchored a morning newscast and contributed to the "Good Morning America" show. Currently, T.G. Shuck is the Chief Meteorologist at WTVQ, where they anchor multiple evening newscasts.

T.G. Shuck attended Lafayette High School from 1983 to 1986. Following high school, from 1986 to 1991, Shuck pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communications at Georgetown College. After completing the undergraduate studies, Shuck joined Mississippi State University from 1995 to 1997 to earn a Certificate of Broadcast Meteorology, specializing in Meteorology. Additionally, in August 2005, Shuck obtained the certification of Certified Broadcast Meteorologist from the American Meteorological Society.
