Elizabeth Reeves

Elizabeth (Libby) Reeves has a wealth of experience in the field of clinical quality assurance. Elizabeth (Libby) began their career in 2011 as a Research Assistant/QMO Assistant at Social & Scientific Systems. In this role, they were responsible for assisting the Quality Management Office with audit preparation, hosting sponsor and regulatory authority audits, writing and QC of audit/quality investigation reports, and monitoring site documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. In 2016, they joined PAREXEL as an initiation Clinical Site Manager (iCSM) II, where they provided training on ICH GCP and FDA regulations, facilitated and managed clinical quality issues and incidents, and prepared, reviewed, and provided input into Quality Assurance, Risk and Compliance processes. In 2018, they moved to Pyxis Compliance Consultancy as an Independent GCP Consultant, performing on-site and virtual pre-service audits of potential vendors and performing routine and ‘for cause’ audits for sites. In 2019, they joined Shattuck Labs as an Associate Director, Clinical and Regulatory Quality Standards, leading clinical & regulatory quality initiatives and performing QC/audit of clinical investigative sites. In 2021, they took on the role of Associate Director/Head of Quality Assurance at NCGS, Inc., serving as the primary developer of audit systems and plans, performing reviews for clinical documentation/materials, and ensuring quality standards were followed. In 2022, they joined Affinivax Inc. as an Associate Director, Good Clinical Practice Quality Assurance, where they again led clinical & regulatory quality initiatives, identified and managed risks to programs and deliverables, and performed systems and processes audits/inspections. Most recently, in 2023, they were appointed Director, Clinical Quality Insurance at Wugen.

Elizabeth (Libby) Reeves completed their BSc Honours in Environmental Biology from the University of the West of Scotland in 2007. In 2012, they obtained a certification in NIH Protecting Human Subjects from the National Institutes of Health.
