Akira Ahola started their work experience in 2000 as a Marketing Manager at Laser Game Finland, where they were responsible for planning marketing strategies and developing a web-based reservation system. From 2004 to 2014, Ahola worked as an Entrepreneur, Journalist, TV Reporter, Stylist, and Producer at Akira Blacklight Garment. During this time, they also worked as a Visual Merchandiser at KappAhl from 2008 to 2013. In 2014, Ahola joined Nouhau productions Oy as a Video Journalist. They then worked at Valve from 2017 to 2019 as a Public Relations Communication Advisor and Social Media Specialist.
