Raul Chacon

Raul Chacon is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in process control and automation. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at Wunderlich-Malec Engineering, Inc., Raul has successfully directed the migration of batch logic to a DeltaV control system and led projects that significantly reduced energy and steam usage. Previously, as Site Process Control Engineer at Kaneka North America, Raul optimized batch processes and developed a master alarm database. Raul's experience also includes roles as Control Systems Engineer and Automation Engineer at Shell, where contributions to control systems, safety improvements, and DCS implementation were noteworthy. Early career experiences include positions in construction supervision, electrical design, and mentoring engineering students, complemented by a dual degree in Electrical Engineering and Spanish from the University of Rhode Island.
