Zachary Maynard

Zachary Maynard has a diverse work experience spanning several years. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Shop Manager at Computer Doctor, where they implemented a managed services program, redesigned procedures, and represented the company in the local business networking chapter.

From 2017 to 2019, Zachary worked as a Network Engineering Consultant at ExcalTech. Zachary'sresponsibilities included consulting with clients to design IT solutions, implementing virtualization and networking solutions, and utilizing Cisco networking equipment and software-defined network routing.

In 2019, Zachary joined BDO Digital USA as a Senior Cloud Automation Engineer. Zachary was responsible for monitoring, alerting, and automating infrastructure for over 100 mid-market customers using Azure and AWS environments. Zachary also advised on architectural decisions, designed and maintained internal and customer applications using Azure services.

In 2022, Zachary moved to Sphera, where they worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer. Here, they led the migration of a reporting and analytics application to Azure, implemented auto scaling, and created a data warehousing application using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Data Lake. Zachary also managed a team of three contractors.

Zachary's most recent role has been as a Site Reliability Engineer at Wurl, starting in 2023.

Zachary Maynard is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University. Zachary started their educational journey in 2021 and is expected to complete their degree in 2025.

In addition to their degree program, Zachary has also obtained several certifications. In 2017, they received the Fireware Essentials certification from WatchGuard Technologies. In 2018, they became a Microsoft Certified Professional. In 2019, they achieved the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: Windows Server 2016 certification. More recently, in 2022, Zachary obtained the CompTIA Project+ and ITIL Foundation Level certifications. Zachary also earned multiple certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
