Kaitlyn U.

Kaitlyn U. has a diverse range of work experience. Kaitlyn started their career as an Associate Scientist at WuXi Advanced Therapies in 2022. In this role, Kaitlyn is responsible for scheduling and directing assays in compliance with industry guidelines and SOPs. Kaitlyn demonstrates expertise in analytical methods, flow cytometry, and cell-based potency assays. Kaitlyn also accurately completes batch records and other required documentation.

Prior to their current position, Kaitlyn worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Thomas Jefferson University from 2017 to 2021. In this role, they developed skills in media preparation, evaluating protein expression, and observing the effects of oncogene knockdown in triple negative breast cancer.

Before their graduate studies, Kaitlyn gained research experience at Rider University. As a Developmental Biology Student Researcher, they focused on the rearing and staging of amphibian embryos for whole-mount in situ hybridization. Additionally, Kaitlyn worked as a Content Tutor and Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader, creating lesson plans and conducting review sessions for biology students. Kaitlyn also assisted with microbiology research, including DNA processing and enrichment culturing.

Overall, Kaitlyn U. has acquired a strong scientific background and expertise in various laboratory techniques through their work experience.

Kaitlyn U. completed their high school education at Washington Township High School from 2009 to 2012. Kaitlyn then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology at Rider University from 2012 to 2016. Afterward, Kaitlyn went on to Thomas Jefferson University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Microbiology, General from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their degrees, they also obtained a certification as a NASPA BACCUS Certified Peer Educator from The BACCHUS Initiatives of NASPA in June 2014.
