Human Resources Specialist at WuXi Advanced Therapies

Lori Hook has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries and roles. Lori started their career as a Bookkeeper at Ross Enterprises in 2004, where they managed accounts payable, logged gas station margin reports, and processed daily bank drafts. In 2008, Lori joined The County of Salem, Public Information Office, where they served as a Personnel Assistant, designing a program for logging and tracking applications and processing purchasing requisitions. Lori then transitioned to The County of Salem, Human Resources Dept., where they worked as a Senior Personnel Assistant from 2008 to 2012. In this role, they maintained personnel files for over 400 employees, ensured compliance with HIPAA regulations, and was the main contact for FMLA programs. From 2012 to 2013, Lori worked as an Administrative Assistant at Chopra Energy, where they handled personnel files, processed payroll, and managed accounts payable and receivable. Lori then joined the Salem County Improvement Authority as an HR Specialist, responsible for maintaining personnel files, processing payroll, and handling FMLA and pension programs. In 2013, Lori joined Iroko Pharmaceuticals, LLC as a Human Resources Assistant, where they played a key role in implementing the HRIS system and designing a new sick policy. Since 2015, Lori has been working at WuXi Advanced Therapies, first as a Senior Human Resources Coordinator, providing administrative support and managing HR duties, and currently as a Human Resources Specialist, responsible for new hire orientation, employee relations, and other HR projects.

Lori Hook began their education journey in 1983 when they enrolled at Widener University. Lori successfully completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General in 1987, marking the end of their education at Widener University.
