Maryna Perepelyuk

Senior Research Scientist - Analytical Lead at WuXi Advanced Therapies

Maryna Perepelyuk has a strong background in research and scientific work. Maryna is currently working as a Research Scientist at WuXi Advanced Therapies since August 2021. Prior to that, they served as an Assay Development Scientist at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Professional Scientific Services, LLC from December 2018 to August 2021.

Maryna's earlier experiences include working at Thomas Jefferson University where they held the positions of Research Assistant I from March 2017 to November 2018 and Postdoctoral Fellow from March 2015 to February 2017. During their time at Thomas Jefferson University, they conducted research on the role of guanylate cyclase C in colon cancer and glucose metabolism in pancreatic cancer. Maryna presented their research to a group of 15 individuals on a weekly basis and also peer-reviewed papers for various journals. Additionally, they took part in poster judge duties for undergraduate participants in the Student Scientific Conference Sigma Xi.

Before their time at Thomas Jefferson University, Maryna was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania from February 2010 to January 2015.

Maryna Perepelyuk earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, with a focus on General Biology, from the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" in the years 1997 to 2001. Maryna then proceeded to obtain a Master's Degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the same institution from 2001 to 2003. Finally, Maryna pursued a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics from 2003 to 2009.
