John A. Farkas Jr.

John A. Farkas, Jr. currently serves as the Major and Planned Giving Officer at WVIA, a position held since August 2018, where responsibilities include researching and cultivating a comprehensive donor base. Previously, John Farkas held roles as Major Gifts Officer for the Abraham Path Initiative and as Manager of Development & Alumni Relations for Catholic Schools within the Diocese of Scranton. In these positions, John focused on donor base development, fundraising events, and alumni relations programs. Additional experience includes work as Administrator III at MAXIMUS and various roles in account management and volunteer coordination. John Farkas earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from The George Washington University and a Master of Arts in Communication Arts from Marywood University.
