Ben Hall

Ben Hall has a strong background in software engineering and IT development. Ben started their career as a Programmer/Analyst at GTRI/RJO Enterprises in 1998, where they led technical aspects of data analysis and document conversion projects. In 1999, they founded Merrill-Hall New Media and acted as the principal technologist, overseeing multiple software development and consulting projects. Ben then worked as a Software Engineer at Power Delivery Associates, designing interfaces between core GIS products and non-GIS applications for the electric utility industry. In 2004, they joined Internap Network Services as a Senior Software Engineer, where they focused on remediating financially significant applications for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and worked on core IT system implementations. Ben also held managerial roles, including Manager of IT Development & Integration, where they rebuilt the development team and practices. After leaving Internap, they worked at Integrated Broadband Services as a Technical Lead, responsible for implementing new features and improving existing functionality. Ben later joined Internap again as a Team Lead, contributing to the development of the Route Performance Monitor. Most recently, they have been working at Momentum Telecom as a Principal Software Engineer.

Ben Hall began their education in 1988 at The McCallie School, where they completed their high school education with a focus on college preparation. In 1992, they attended Cornell University, although there is no information available regarding the degree obtained during their time there. Following this, from 1993 to 1997, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Science, Technology & Culture at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Ben continued their education at the same institution and earned a Master of Science degree in Information Design & Technology from 1997 to 1999.
