Jeffrey Schoenherr has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of development and alumni relations. Jeffrey most recently served as the Associate Vice President of Medical and Health Sciences Development at West Virginia University Foundation, Inc since May 2019. Prior to that, they worked at The Ohio State University as the Assistant Vice President for Principal Gifts from 2015 to 2019. Jeffrey also held positions at Emerson College as the Vice President of Development and Alumni Relations from 2012 to 2015, and at Harvard Law School as the Executive Director of Development and Alumni Relations from 2011 to 2012. Mr. Schoenherr spent a significant part of their career at Johns Hopkins University & Medicine - Development and Alumni Relations where they held various roles, including Director of Regional and International Development and Senior Associate Director of Major Gifts from 2001 to 2011. Jeffrey began their career at the University of Michigan in 1991 and held multiple roles including Director of Major Gifts, Manager of Regional Outreach, Assistant Director of Alumni Relations, and Admissions Counselor.
Jeffrey Schoenherr attended the University of Michigan from 1987 to 1991, where they earned an AB degree in Political Science. Later, from 2003 to 2009, they pursued Advanced Certificates at The Johns Hopkins University, specializing in Situational Delegation, Excellence in Management, Leadership Development, and Management Track. In 2017, Jeffrey Schoenherr enrolled at the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University, pursuing a Certificate in Bold Leadership, which is ongoing.
