Monica Richter

Monica Richter is a seasoned professional in climate change mitigation and sustainability, currently serving as the Senior Manager for Low Carbon Futures at WWF-Australia since 2017. Additionally, Monica holds the position of Project Director at both the Materials & Embodied Carbon Leaders’ Alliance and the Business Renewables Centre Australia, focusing on accelerating renewable energy uptake. With a solid background at WWF as the Business Engagement Manager for Climate Change, along with previous roles at World Animal Protection Australia, Greenpeace, and the Australian Conservation Foundation, Monica has extensive experience in engaging businesses and industries towards sustainable practices. Monica's educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Applied Science (Social Ecology) from Western Sydney University and multiple Bachelor's degrees in Economics from The University of Queensland.
