Oscar Esparza Alaminos is currently working as a Marine Protected Areas Officer at WWF España since September 2010. Prior to that, Oscar worked as a Researcher associated at Universidad de Murcia from 2004 to 2010, focusing on various national and international research projects related to marine protection and artisanal fishing. Oscar also worked as a Researcher associated at ANSE - Asociación de Naturalistas del Sureste from August 2007 to January 2009, contributing to the LIFE Conservation of Larus audouinii project in Spain. Additionally, in 2004, Oscar provided scientific technical assistance at Universidad de Murcia for the Biomex LIFE project, conducting sampling activities to assess the effects of marine protection on fish stocks and fishing activity.
