Gideon Kibusia is an experienced forestry professional with a strong background in project management and farmer coordination. Currently serving as a Project Executant for the NEESEL Project and a Project Officer for the Greening Kaptagat Project at WWF-Kenya since October 2021, Gideon has previously held multiple roles at Better Globe Forestry Ltd and Better Globe Forestry Foundation. Key positions include Farmer Group Formation and Coordination Manager, where responsibilities included coordinating farmer group activities across Kenya and Uganda, and Contracting Forester, which involved digitizing recruitment processes and managing farmer databases. With a BSc in Forestry from Moi University and a Diploma in Forestry from Kenya Forestry College, Gideon has developed extensive expertise in tree plantation management, community training on environmental conservation, and administrative operations in forestry projects.
